Monday, February 04, 2002So I tried entering in the United states of america computing olympiad. It's a five-hour long programming contest where you have to solve 5 programming problems. I spent 3 hours on one problem and realized I was only halfway through it. At that point I decided enough was enough and ran away screaming. Moral of the story: Academic competitions that require you to spend 1/4 of your day in complete isolation are sick and wrong.Another great skiing day this saturday. You non-skiers don't know what you are missing: the sun, the snow, the 5 hour long bus trip back to bremerton. What a superbowl!!! can you believe that finish! Even though the Rams lost, it was still tremendous fun to watch! It's a new semester, hoorah! Too bad AP English still blows. Kinda weird to think it is my last one at Oly, not that I'm that disappointed. I'm mad, I got a C+ on my physics final. Sleep deprivation sucks.
