Ack!!! I need to stop buying text books/reference books when I don't need them for a class. I just bought a two math text books and a computer textbooks, plus some novels, for way too much money! oh well, I'll enjoy reading them all when they get here (that is the really sick thing...)
So I went up to Mt. Baker with Katie this weekend, instead of watching/driving my little brothers (my parents were gone all week). She introduced me to her friend Nate, who is a better skier then I am, so I got some good pointers from him. It was fun. Let me tell everyone who cares to listen to me (probabaly no one) that Katie is on of the quickest learners on skis I've ever met.
In addition to skiing up at Baker, decided to snowboard for about half the day. Despite the fact that it is my third time snowboarding, and I was able to carve (hell, I managed to a little carving in a mogul field), it is still incredibly boring compared to skiing, and the boots hurt more. A lot more.
Hmmm, what else. Oh yeah, Sarah took me to see a student production at WWU. It was 3 one act plays. Actually it was 2 one act plays and one act from a four act play. I my favorite was called "Hidden in This Picture", which is a funny scene about a director who is trying to make his stage to film crossover and the final shot of the movie getting ruined by cows. The Act from "Crimes of the Heart" was also really good, and the other one was so forgetable that I can't remember it's name.
My thanks to Katie and Sarah for the use of the floor between your beds. I had a ton of fun hanging with you two. Even if Sarah was a bit hard to understand at times.
Good Luck on finals week everyone! Hopefully none of you need it.
