topkai22: I went to CKHS's (my physics school) prom last night, and my date's group and I went to dinner in Seattle. The driver of our car found the place alright, it was back on union and 34th, not easy to spot. Dinner was nice and all, even if I was put next to my ex-girlfriend for some strange reason. HOWEVER, we had the most interesting drive back. Our driver took use down, in order, a one way alleyway leading to the train tracks and loading docks (he used the alley to get in and out...), a little joint through the docks and industrial section of seattle, a drive through Highline and west seattle (we drove past the same 7-11 three times before he stopped and asked for directions, forgot the directions, drove past it AGAIN and had to go back in and get directions) and finally to I-5, where we immediatly hit traffic.
iam THE DIXI CUP: haha
iam THE DIXI CUP: highline....that's right by me
topkai22: now at this point we were already two hours late
topkai22: hmmm, maybe not then, it was west seattle
topkai22: actually an hour and a half late, excuse me
iam THE DIXI CUP: ick
topkai22: our driver's date starts CRYING. I mean a full blown weep job, messing up her make up and all
iam THE DIXI CUP: hahaha
topkai22: so our driver is trying to aggressively drive through bumper to bumper traffic in federal way (his date thought it was bridege traffic all the way to federal way...) and trying calm his date at the same time
iam THE DIXI CUP: haha
topkai22: anyways we eventually make it to the dance, two hours late, and in front of the dance there was this gigantic sign for the theme that said: "Looks like we made it"
topkai22: we all just started cracking up
iam THE DIXI CUP: hahaha
iam THE DIXI CUP: that's great
topkai22: yeah
topkai22: and it certainaly makes for a better story then "I went to the dance, I had fun
