Kofi Annan is now claiming that the US invasion of Iraq was illegal from an international law prespective. While you may not agree with the US invasion of Iraq, the fact is that there were three different resolutions against Iraq that promised action against them if Saddam did not cooperate. These same resolutions were used to back Operation Desert Fox (airstrikes against Saddam after he threw out inspectors) in the clinton administration, and many many strikes in the no-fly zones.
