I think I know why the US war in Iraq went so well:
http://www.usatoday.com/news/world/iraq/2003-04-13-gen-wallace-interview_x.htm
That's right. The commander of US Army forces in Iraq is Gen. William Wallace. Now, I just wonder if woad was distrubuted to troops prior to combat...

Alert: The MPAA, RIAA. and other instruments of the devil are once again trying to chop away at our freedoms. Having run up against opposition at the federal level, the MPAA has taken their campaign against fair use to states, introducing "Super-DCMA" laws at the state legisitlature level. So time to write again:
The work at Mudd still sucks.
My dorm still rocks.
Hex sucks for frosh (don't ask).
My brother visited me at Mudd (once again, BAD LESLIE) and it we had fun sitting around not doing much. Oh, and he hit on a 22 year old, which was hillarous. Sad thing was it almost worked.
I saw Lonna yesterday, the prefroshies are out at Scripps. Mudd's prefrosh weekend is just two days away. And then till I can tell all those prefroshies that Mudd is a vile place, an evil place, that dangles the carrot of freetime with lots of cool people while beating you with the stick of homework. Or maybe I'll just whirl em. Who knows.

Oh and Leslie Smith sucks for not visiting me!
So I was looking through the pre-frosh admits and I noticed one of them is from Klahowya. 5 bonus points if anyone can name who it is. (Hint- He is incredibly annoying)
So, despite having to physically threaten people with a my bulging muscles and big stick, I succeded in getting a room in Slouch suite during mock draw. I'm willing to go through on those threats to eleminate the possibility of having children, ever, from those who take Slouch suite. Even the girls. Although I think I'd need a non-blunt instrument with them. More room draw updates tomrrow.
PS- my brother (Alex) comes to campus tomorrow! I'm exicted! I can make him clean my room!

You know the world is going crazy when the best rapper is a white guy, the best golfer is a black guy, the swill hold the Americas Cup, France is accusing the United States of arrogance, and Germany doesn't want to go to war...- from Marguriettes profile.
Emily, since you didn't give me the chance to reply: I was not referring to the war (although most actually do seem to support it. I'm undecided still) I was referring to the US population's view on the government as a whole. Many, if not most, people in the US think too much of there role in the government. You know me, I'm an 19th century throwback. Representatives should be allowed to govern, and govern for what is best for the country. Of course neither the people nor the governing seem to like this view very much... (poorly constructed but I'm on the run.)
Anyways- The US is definatly a Republic, not a democracy. Perhaps a democratic republic at worst. Hence the founding father's talk of republician virtue, etc... You comparision to the PRC was cheap and uncalled for. They might have the structure of a republic, but they fall short in the suffarge area. PS- Iraq is a supposedaly a democratic republic too...
