Oly knowledge bowl dominates again!!!
Despite an early setback in the written round Olympic High School knowledge bowl overcame a 10 point deficit and became the 4A regional champs again. Hoorah! This the two teams competing at state fromg the Olympic Pennisula will be OL1 and PA1, with kudos to CK3, BR1, and SK1 for there runner up finishes. PT1 was the number one overall team, over coming a HUGE third round deficit by jumping up THREE brackets in a 26 point round during the 4th. They beat OL1 by just one point in the top bracket during the 5th round, securing the Olympic region trophy once again. Must be something in the water. Till next time knowledge bowl fans, the next round by round will be from STATE!!!

so we were listening to the annoucements this morning when Mr. Barnes came on the PA. He told us all about the rules for Tolo. Mrs. Taylor was in an energetic mood this morning, and she decided to pantamine all the actions he all the rules he was describing. This was cute until he brought up "No dancing of a close physical nature." Mrs. Taylor pantomiming "dancing of a close physical nature" involves her putting an arm around her stomach, the other swinging in a tight circle in the air, bending at the knees and shaking her bootie, all while maintaining the same expression as an airline flight attendent demonstrating how to use the seat belts. This is both hillarous and disturbing. And I'm not even going to get into "No body under the influence of drugs or alcohol..."

Went to Seattle Saturday. Got on the 6:25 AM ferry to go to the JETS competition. This was foolishness, complete and utter foolishness. We got to the competition (held in the crossroads mall in bellevue) BEFORE THE PEOPLE RUNNING THE COMPETITION GOT THERE. So I was forced out of bed at 6:00 (I get ready quick) for no reason at all. I'm still angry about this. Anyways our bridges qualified with nothing illegal on them, and we sat around for 4 hours. We ended up winning the competition (no suprise) and I drove my mom to the ferry. After my mom got on the ferry I had my FIRST BIG SEATTLE DRIVING ADVENTURE!!! It was fun, I took my brother and his friend to the U district. I would have visited with some of my UW friends, but they had all gone home (you hosers). After this we drove around Seattle for an hour or two, got lost, tried to make it to the Ballard Firehouse, got lost again, ended up ( I don't know how I did this) at Safeco field, made another attempt to get to Ballard firehouse, made a bunch of wrong turns, but eventually got there anyways. At the firehouse I watched CJ Johnson's band play, and they were suprisingly good. A LOT better than when they played at my party. After this I ended up driving Jon and Karen home, all the way around cause nobody wanted to pay for the ferry.

The rest of my weeked was uneventful.

Nice pic from Tolo Kristen. I look like a clown.

Topper's Travel's has had it's first random visiter sign the guest book! As the girls would probabaly say, "Woopah!!!" Elizabeth Dixon, as the winner of the "first person I don't know to sign my guestbook" contest you may claim your prize of some pocket lint and 2 ticket stubs from the movie "Glitter" and a 1968 Studebaker at any participating Krusty Burger store.

We had another math contest today, I ate too many cookies and am feeling kinda ill now :(

Poor Julie. I spent about 15 minutes trying to explain to her why alcholism is a genetic disease, and I still don't think she got it. This is almost as bad as when I joked "On a national standardized test a full 50% of all american schools performed below average" she said "Thats awful!"

So I tried entering in the United states of america computing olympiad. It's a five-hour long programming contest where you have to solve 5 programming problems. I spent 3 hours on one problem and realized I was only halfway through it. At that point I decided enough was enough and ran away screaming. Moral of the story: Academic competitions that require you to spend 1/4 of your day in complete isolation are sick and wrong.

Another great skiing day this saturday. You non-skiers don't know what you are missing: the sun, the snow, the 5 hour long bus trip back to bremerton.

What a superbowl!!! can you believe that finish! Even though the Rams lost, it was still tremendous fun to watch!

It's a new semester, hoorah! Too bad AP English still blows. Kinda weird to think it is my last one at Oly, not that I'm that disappointed.

I'm mad, I got a C+ on my physics final.

Sleep deprivation sucks. I started to hear things saturday night, sunday morning.

if you want to hear anything more about my life just ask.
